17-year-old Dane beats 15 million Chinese in science competition

Young Dane Michael Schantz Klausen - from a high school in Lyngby, near Copenhagen, Denmark - has received a prestigious price at the Open Chinese Championship for Young Researchers.
CASTIC, as the competition is abbreviated, was held in Urumqi in Northwestern China.
He won one of four prices for "outstanding international research" for his project on Synthesis of ferrofluid-nanoparticles
More than 15 million Chinese had tried to qualify for the competition in which finally 1500 participants from around the World competed.
